Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerant of drought, heat, humidity and poor soils. Stout stems, 2-4' tall, bear flowerheads having rays drooping from a large, spiny, cone-shaped center. Color ranges from a pink so pale is almost appears white to rose. Attracts bees.
