Dark grape-violet Louisiana iris. Prefers at least six hours a day of direct sun. Grow in ordinary garden beds with excellent results or may also plant on the edges of ponds, or place your potted iris into your pond/aquatic garden so that the rim of the pot is a few inches below the water's surface. Definitely makes a show in late spring.
