Evergreen conifer remains full to the ground for many years before raising its canopy to small tree status. Grows 30-40’ but can reach 90’. Fragrant, scale-like foliage can be coarse or fine-cut; from gray-green/blue-green to light/dark green. All colors tend to brown in winter. Pale blue fruits on female plants. Soft, silvery bark covers the single trunk. Easily grown in average, dry to moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates a range of soils and growing conditions. Great for thickets and food source for birds.
