Monarda fistulosa 'Wafer Creek Ranch'

A Johnny Armstrong selection from Lincoln Parish with soft to deep lavender, tubular, pin-cushion-like flowers that attract butterflies/hummingbirds.  Prefers rich, humusy soils in full sun with some afternoon shade.  Reputed to tolerate both wet and dry soils.  3’-4’ tall, 2’-3’ spread.
