Evergreen  wax myrtle grows quickly to 5 - 6 feet high and wide. Inconspicuous flowers appear in early spring, Good as screen plants or informal hedges.  The foliage is pleasantly aromatic. Prefers good drainage and slightly acidic soils Plant shrubs in partial shade to full sun.  ‘Don’s Dwarf’ is a dwarf form of the species, a Don Whiddon selection, and has a very full and dense growth habit.
