'Short Sassy' was found in Tangipahoa Parish, La; compact habit and fuller growth; 3'-5' all, fall-flowering spikes with soft golden seed heads remain attractive into winter. 'Goodbee' was found in St. Tammany Parish, La; 4' - 5' tall. Tolerates poor soil, dry conditions, and prefers no fertilizer or special care. Plant it in full sun for strong growth; simply cut back in early spring.
