Minty-smelling, erect, many-branched, herbaceous perennial grows 2-3' tall, with narrow, almost needle-like leaves and profuse terminal clusters of small, white flowers in mid to late summer.  Bees and butterflies use flowers.  Full sun to part shade.  Dried leaves used as flavoring and in teas.
