A deciduous azalea that is a dense, bushy, suckering shrub; grows 6-8’tall. Fragrant flowers vary from nearly-white to deep pink, blooming in April immediately preceding the emergence of the foliage. Plant in a location protected from strong winter winds with good soil drainage. Outstanding in shrub & mixed borders, woodland gardens & shade gardens. Also beautiful as a stand-alone specimen.
